Lee Marvin moved to Tucson in 1970. For decades there were "I Saw Lee Marvin stores at various liquor stores on Speedway, and Broadway. He drove a pick up truck with an 18 inch machete under the drivers seat.

interestingly enough after i watched this video... i heard that rudy G of legal for the Potus trump had a press conference... and during that Presser he had one of these Black drips from the spray that he used on his hair/head to hide his baldness... the baldness comment at the end.. its still going on.. literally on November 19 2020.. a lawyer for the out going president trump was in a press conference on live tv and he had the drips.. the drips that lee marvin talked about.. the drips that johnny C mentioned.. Nice drop months ago.. but IT really plays now with the whole drip drip follow the line from the side of the new scar face.. thanks again for the upload..i shall remind others that lee and j C knew n advance what a sell out like rudy g would do for any tv time.

Lee Marvin is just terrific in Point Blank, one of my favorite films. And I was always amazed at how large his face was: compare his face with Carson's and you see the huge difference.

At the end of the segment Johnny was mentioning Victor Mature and forgot the name of the movie. It was ' After the Fox ' with Peter Sellers,a classic.I remember watching it several times on TV in the 70s when the programming was filled with movies.I know it gets said a lot but I really do miss these guys and the women...all gone now except a few.

Imagine a movie with both Lee Marvin AND Oliver Reed. Two legends with strong personalities. Reed died in a pub on the Island of Malta during the filming of Gladiator, in 1999. He was friends with The Who drummer Keith Moon. Marvin was in the US Marine Corps. A Purple Heart.

I’m from the uk and I have been watching Johnny Carson on IRitem for a while and his show reminds me of Michael Parkinson (a presenter and show was Similar to Dick Cavett style) and Graham Norton’s intelligible and funny at the same time. Most Chat show presenters theses days try too way to hard to fit in The old school ones shoes and fail. Lee Marvin great character actor and a real life hard man.

Sure miss Johnny Carson. May buy into those infomercials where the sell various seasons of the show on DVD. This was in the mid 1970's and the "older generation" was still trying to look young and let their hair grow out. Carson's doesn't look so good!
