Showbusiness used to be so great. Free, funny, artistic, dramatic. Now it's just SJW propaganda non-stop, and people trying not to end up the next social media outrage story.

Read up on how many of the "greats of comedy" got their start on his show. It's literally a who's who of the entertainment world. And it was said that if they were invited to a sit down at their first appearance they were on their way.

The ABCs of Salvation, or how to be right with God, and know you're going to Heaven: A-dmit that you're a sinner, and need a Savior. As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 B-elieve that Jesus Christ died paying the penalty for your sins, and rose from the grave. He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross. 1 Peter 2:24 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures... 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 C-all on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you, and trust only in Him for your salvation. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 The moment you "believe," or, put your trust in what Jesus has done for you, God saves you and your eternal destiny in Heaven is assured. You go from spiritual death to eternal life the moment you believe. Jesus said it this way: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. John 5:24😀

I think they should just do away with the Tonight Show as it is now and just put up reruns. The comedy would be a lot better and so would the ratings.

Man that stuff doesn't age well...He sorta was at the tail of the the 1950's style humor. One liners that make fun of ________ people (fill in the blank.. fat, short, Asian drivers, etc etc etc ) with completely stereotypical stuff. I could predict nearly every joke.

I've heard more than one comic say they thought they bombed and wanted to get off stage as quick as possible, not realizing Carson was waving them over to the desk. Also I think he had a pretty gruff stage manager who would always tell first timers to just assume he wasn't going to get invited to sit.

Louie Anderson is, uh oh , was very funny. I loved his deadpan delivery. I’m glad I popped by Johnny Carson when opening Chrome, I’ve been watching Carson for the past few weeks really.. He’s got got some fantastic, intriguing , outrageous, comics that are ‘with ITS, current and abreast with the times , personalities that are dead on ,spot on , no nonsense’, no games, Just basic bawdy, raucous, in your face, no time to duck, or get out the way, ‘cause here comes that Mr. FatBoy who’d going to let you have iit right between the eyes. He know whst he’s c talking about, he ‘ain’t scared of nobody, he’s callin’ it like he sees it ...... and you’d betta watch yourself dude ..... mobody is dafe. You know what ..... I’m Telling MOM!!

True Story: I remember back in September of 1983, my first job out of college I was based in the LA area. One weekend, a coworker and I went to the Comedy Store in LA on a weekend night. At that time, on a weekend night they highlighted the best comedians of the week. The three that I saw were Louie Anderson, Yakov Smirnov (The Russian Comedian) and Jerry Seinfeld. Louie was definitely the funniest and many of the jokes he used that night were the same jokes he used during this first Appearance on Johnny Carson. To this day, I remember the wicker chair joke...LOL..The least funniest comedian, believe it or not , was Jerry Seinfeld! Seinfeld's routine was similar to the short standup routine that began each episode during the early years of Seinfeld series. (Some jokes worth a chuckle but big laughter? No..) Both the coworker and I never saw Seinfeld making much of himself. All I can say is thank God he met Larry David..The true genius of the series...Seinfeld is now a billionaire.. and Louie??? Never saw that coming...
